Linda Puiatti is a landscape painter living and working in NY State. She is inspired by nature, open spaces, meadows and seascapes. No matter the subject, the play of light and shadow and how it changes our daily landscape, it’s a constant in her work and continues to be Puiatti’s muse.
Her fine art education includes the Art Students’ League in NYC and later, the Stedlijk Akademie van Schoonekunst in Deinze, Belgium, where she studied with Belgian painter JeanMarie Bijtbier. Puiatti spent ten years in Europe studying painting at the Deinze Akademie. Back in the States, she opened two art galleries before returning to painting full-time.
Rich Alexander studied and worked as a Graphic Designer, but fine arts has always been his real calling! Rich’s journey with fine art started while designing the September 11th Firefighter Memorial in Mt. Kisco, NY, there he met illustrator Alan Reingold who took notice of his talent and encouraged him to pursue fine art full time; Rich began by studying pencil drawing, later he sought to explore color through oil painting, he fell in love with the medium and never stopped painting. Rich has had numerous solo and group shows, including the prestigious Salmagundi Club in NYC.
We are excited to showcase the works of two very talented and accomplished artists, we look forward to seeing you at Oak&Oil Gallery!

Staszek Kotowski studied at Warsaw’s Academy of Fine Arts and taught there as an assistant professor for four years before coming to the US where he now lives. His paintings are inspired by the mystery and the vastness of seas, skies and landscape; open spaces that invoke contemplation, they awaken our spirit so we may connect back to ourselves. “Oceans and waters are the foundation of life, they resonate in us with their space, power and always living texture and color.”
Lila Turjanski-Villard grew up in Argentina. Since she was a child, sculpture and dance have been a constant in Villard’s life. She studied clay sculpture in private studios for more then ten years, exploring the medium and developing her own personal technique and style. Her passion for dance is apparent in her graceful sculptures. The elements of movement, bodies in comunication and rhythm with space, are constantly present in her artwork.
