Linda Puiatti Paintings Demonstration at

Linda Puiatti is an American contemporary landscape painter based in New York State, whose work is defined by its atmospheric depth and emotional resonance. Utilizing a soft-focus sfumato technique, Puiatti explores how light and shadow transform natural topography. Her expansive portfolio spans decades.  Rather than merely documenting a location, Puiatti uses color and light to translate the drama of a landscape. The resulting pieces serve as visual invitations, encouraging visitors to engage in their own personal reflections and narratives within the quiet spaces she creates.

Each large-scale oil painting originates from direct observation. Field studies painted en plein air across the Hudson Valley, East Coast US farmlands, and the shores of Cape Cod serve as the vital reference material for her major studio canvas works. Today, Puiatti’s original paintings are highly sought after by design professionals and fine art collectors alike, hanging in private and public collections throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia.

Her formal American artistic studies include rigorous training at The Art Students League, The School of Visual Arts, The Woodstock School of Art, and the Byrdcliffe School of Art.  European studies include Stedelijke Akademie voor Schoone Kunst, Deinze, Belgium.
